A Kout round is either Son (الصن) or Hakam (الØكم), and the difference changes everything. In Son, the team that wins the bid picks the trump suit for itself. In Hakam, the opposing team chooses the trump to make your life hard. That single detail is why Son rewards bold, planned play while Hakam punishes it. Calling Son means taking control of the round and accepting the risk that comes with it.
Going all in during Son does not mean playing wildly. It means committing your team to a target before the first card hits the table, then playing every trick as if that target were already won.
The best moment to push hard is when four things line up:
If only two of those four are true, play the round carefully. Son on a weak hand is the fastest way for a team to lose an entire session in one deal.
Mashroo (مشروع) is the bid that puts you in the driver's seat, and it is where most all-in mistakes happen. When you count your hand, count toward the target you can actually reach, not the one you hope for. A Mashroo you cannot back with trumps turns into a gift for the opponents. Remember that in Son you choose the trump, so choose the suit where your long run meets the void your partner is likely holding. Ask your partner what they have before you lock the suit in — one question can save you ten tricks.
Once the decision is made, lead your strongest trump early. That does two jobs: it drags trumps out of the opponents' hands and it forces them to reveal their shape. Then switch to your side suits while your partner still holds cards that support you. If the opponents take a trick you had counted, do not panic or rewrite the plan mid-round. The all-in decision was made before the first card, so trust it and keep the tempo.
Bar (بر) is the round bonus you collect when you hold the opponents back, and it is what makes a bold Son worthwhile. When you are chasing Bar, tempo matters more than the quality of your cards, because Bar settles across the whole session.
